Evidence case

A display case with items of evidence is placed between the bench and the witness box.
In front of the presiding judge, it stands at floor level like the rest of the court.
All material items of proof relating to the case are placed there for all to see.
Seals are put on the items of evidence, and they are listed, numbered and sealed during the investigation. They can be taken out of the display case if an expert, for example, wished to make a demonstration.
