The Places

Press room

In most courtrooms, a place is reserved for the press.
Depending on the architecture of the courtroom itself, it may be a little box built between the public and the court, or rows of well-placed public benches reserved for journalists.
When lots of journalists are expected for a trial, a press room is sometimes provided next to the courtroom. Journalists can follow the trial thanks to direct transmission, while using their own equipment.
