Other drawing tools used by artists are: coloured pencils, which enable them to sketch in the drawing and colour it at the same time; ball-point pens, which provide fast, fluid line work and are handy for snap-shot sketches; bamboo pens which, just like dipper pens of old, are ideal for intuitive line work, with all its ‘imperfections’.
